HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
Our Change.org petition gathered 2,500 signatures – a great start! Now we’re taking the next step with a Parliamentary Petition calling on the NSW Government to make Link Road Forest a National Park.
If we collect 10,000 handwritten signatures from NSW residents aged 18+, Parliament must debate it in the Legislative Assembly.

WELCOME TO LINK ROAD FOREST
Link Road Forest is one of the last green corridors in our area – a place where native trees stand tall, and wildlife finds a place to live. Additionally, for commuters driving to work each day, the forest also offers a calming view of nature, a reminder of greenery on an otherwise mind numbing journey.
However, the precious forest is currently under serious threat. Developers plan to clear large sections for housing and infrastructure, thereby destroying habitat and replacing natural areas with concrete.
We believe this is wrong. We know that when communities stands together, we can stop it.
WHY THE FOREST MATTERS
Wildlife Habitat
Link Road Forest is home to numerous threatened species, including some that are classified as endangered and even critically endangered. Many species rely on mature trees and safe forested corridors. Destruction of their habitat pushes them closer to extinction.
Community Wellbeing
Access to green space improves mental health, physical activity, and social connection. The loss of the forest would leave our community poorer in every sense.
Environmental Health
Forests act as the lungs of our community. They absorb carbon, reduce heat, protect our soil, and filter stormwater before it reaches our rivers and oceans. In a time of accelerating climate change, preserving forests is one of the most effective local actions we can take.
Future Generations
Once the bulldozers move in, there’s no turning back. Saving Link Road Forest is about leaving a legacy of nature for our children and grandchildren.
